We buy:

• Tree trunks of all conifer and broadleaf kinds.

• Quality oak and beech round timber.
• For the Hostouň sawmill we buy large diameter spruce logs 4–5 m long.

We sell:

• Processed conifer and broadleaf timber.
• Round timber: pine, spruce, oak, larch, beech, and more.
• Construction timber: KVH squared timber, BSH squared timber, wooden laths, planks, beams, planed boards, and more.
• Fuelwood.

Timber and white chip sale  

The modern LATOP ENERGY sawmill operation in Hostouň, optimising wood sawing, offers a wide range of quality processed dried or raw spruce timber.

Our capacity is 60,000 m3 of sawn timber a year (with a two-shift operation), and up to 30,000 m³ timber dried onto a specific moisture content according to the customer’s requirement.

We process round timber of the following specifications:

• max. lenght: 5 m
• min. length: 2 m
• max. diameter: 110 cm

Fuel wood chip

The BIOMASA centre operates with six John Deer forwarders to haul logging residues and brushwood, and a Mus Max wood chipper for subsequent processing of the gathered material into wood chips. Suitable material is brushwood from logging but also broadleaved trees left after clearcutting, road maintenance, etc. We provide the gathering and hauling of the brushwood, as well as its purchase.

The final product is wood chip fuel, suitable for burning in heating ang power plants. Considering the low moisture content, and thus a higher calorific value, our woodchips are perfect for energy generation. Thanks to the lower moisture, it can be stored for longer periods of time without a significant loss of quality.

We specialize in forest cultivation, focusing on sustainable practices that promote healthy ecosystems and enhance timber production. Our commitment to responsible forestry ensures that we not only meet today’s needs but also protect the environment for future generations. We engage in reforestation efforts to restore and replenish natural habitats. Our projects involve planting native tree species, which support local wildlife and improve biodiversity.

We have 15 SCANIA vehicles and 1 MAN wood chipper.

We use our fleet to haul material from our orders. If necessary, we are also able to help our partner companies, e.g. with the dumper truck to transport construction material, etc.

At our main office in Trhanov, we provide:

• Full servicing of cars and trucks, and forestry machinery.
• We have a fully equipped tyre repair shop.
• Our asset is the production of hydraulic hoses for agricultural machinery, forestry machinery, trucks, etc.
• We also provide complete turning services. 

• We provide complete forestry services, including logging, skidding, and hauling, and brushwood clearing or burning.
• We offer a professional management of other owners’ forest properties.
• We provide consulting services in the field of forestry.
